Panasonic Asia-Pacific has been announced as the first sponsor to sign up for the South East Asian (SEA) Games, which take place later this year in Myanmar.
As part of its commitment to the biennial multi-sport event, Panasonic will exclusively provide a range of household appliances to the organisers, as well as supplying a range of audio visual equipment on a non-exclusive basis.
The deal was brokered by Dentsu Sports Asia, which is working to secure sponsors for the event on behalf of the organising committee.
“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work with Panasonic as a sponsor for the SEA Games,” said Dentsu’s president and chief executive Kunihito Morimura.
