Telenor Myanmar has launched a postpaid plan for customers in Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyitaw, the mobile network carrier said.
Customers will be able to use this service in all of Telenor’s active coverage areas, Telenor announced.
“For postpaid, our individual customers will get more convenience in terms of billing, meanwhile our enterprise customers will have special benefits for their companies. Going forward we will continue to develop services that will benefit our customers,” said Petter Furberg, CEO of Telenor Myanmar.
Telenor Myanmar will provide one postpaid solution for both individual and enterprise customers. Its current customers on prepaid plan can convert their number to a postpaid plan by filling out a form with their ID.
In the postpaid system, the customer will receive a bill from Telenor either through delivery or via email. The monthly invoice can be paid at Telenor’s shops or by visiting CB or KBZ banks.
Customers can subscribe to the postpaid plan in a Telenor store in the three main cities. For enterprises, the postpaid plans will be sold through Telenor Myanmar’s enterprise team and a special rate for employees in the same company will apply.
There will be different postpaid price plans on offer, where the larger plan will include more benefits to the customer. Telenor postpaid customers will have Smart Internet PayGo (up to 2 mbps) as the default internet option. It will offer three different Smart Internet packs – Smart Pack 500MB, Smart Pack 1GB and Smart Pack 2GB to the postpaid customers.
Postpaid subscriptions will have the same prices for voice calls and SMS and offer the same benefits as prepaid, such as roaming, international direct dialling and value added services.
Telenor Myanmar said it will also have customer service agents at its call centre (979) for postpaid customers to offer specialised service.
