Mr Melvyn Pun will be taking over from Mr Andrew Rickards, who will step down as CEO and Executive Director at the company’s Annual General Meeting on Jul 27.
SINGAPORE: SGX Mainboard-listed firm Yoma Strategic has announced a management change with Mr Melvyn Pun taking over as its Chief Executive Officer from end July.
Mr Melvyn Pun is the son of Yoma’s executive chairman Serge Pun.
The company said in a filing to the Singapore Exchange (SGX) that the younger Mr Pun will be taking over from Mr Andrew Rickards who will step down as CEO and Executive Director at the company’s Annual General Meeting on Jul 27.
Mr Pun was previously the Managing Director and the Head of Asia (Ex-Japan) Corporate Solutions Group in Goldman Sachs (Asia).
Yoma also reported that its fourth quarter ner profit rose 28.1 per cent to S$8.16 million. Meanwhile, group revenue for the quarter ended March 31 edged just a tad higher, up 0.1 per cent to S$27.6 million.
For the full year, Yoma’s net profit rose 71 per cent to S$28.1 million and group revenue increased 10.4 per cent to S$110.9 million.
The company attributed the strong growth to the group’s Automotive and Tourism segments.
