Request for Expressions of Interest for Individual Consultant — National

The Project is seeking to recruit a national Landscaping expert to assist in the landscaping and the refurbishing of the premises identified by the Government in the Ministry of Finance. The building requires refurbishing to convert it in to a facility with: class rooms, faculty rooms, computer laboratory, language laboratory, library, and a project office. The national technical expert to be recruited will work directly with the Chair of the appointed committee to oversee the renovations under the Leadership of the Permanent Secretary of the MoF and Project Director of the MPFMp.
This work will specifically include: Design, Technical support, and Implementation.
The Consultant is required to demonstrate the following as a minimum:
• BSc or MSc Degree (or equivalent) in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 (five) years of experience in Architectural design and landscaping in Myanmar.
• Experience and familiarity with the materials for interiors available in the local market and with the flora in Myanmar.
• Excellent communication skills in Myanmar (Essential) and English (Desired).
The assignment is for an estimated duration of 50 days (intermittent input) over a six month period. The location of the assignment is in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.
MPFMp now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (in addition to the educational qualifications, experience of similar assignments and country of work etc. should be incorporated in the CV to be submitted along with expression of interest/application).
