3rd Day of Election Result – NLD still leading by 80% of the seat in Parliament

Updated as at Day 3, 11th Nov 2015 10pm based on UEC announced results

Myanmar Election Result - 11Nov2015

Percentage of contested seat announced todate – 65%
# The current ruling party under President Thein Sein
* Aung Sann Suu Kyi’s party
Take note that the above figures exclude the 25% of seat reserved for the Military

If the final result announced shows that the NLD has a commanding majority in parliament and the result is accepted by the military and a civilian government is sworn in led by Aung San Suu Kyi as the leader (not necessarily the President). We can expect all remaining sanctions on Myanmar to be lifted by the US with the exception of those dealing in narcotics or arms.
