Moreover we are discussing with Mandalay region government to construct low cost housing project,” said Yu Khine, Director of Department of Human Settlement and Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction.

Shwelinpan low cost housing has 32 four-storied buildings and Ayeyawon from Dagon Seikkan Township and Yadanar affordable housings have 49 eighteen-storied buildings.

“We are planning to construct low cost housings across the country but initially we need to discuss with respective governments. The department will provide urban planning and architectural designs.
