Myanma Posts and Telecommunications: Expression of Interest (EOI) for Mobile Expansion Project . Closing Date 11 Feb 2014




Myanma Posts and Telecommunication (‘MPT’) is considering to expand the existing mobile network throughout the country which is currently dominated by Huawei’s, ZTE’s and ASB’s products from China. Total capacity is supposed to be 5 million lines and it would be comprised of (GSM), (HSPA+) and (LTE Advance) as shown in below.

# GSM (900) – (20%) of Total Capacity
# GSM/HSPA+ (900/2100) – (80%) of Total Capacity
# LTE Advance (1800) – (15%) of Total sites (existing or new site)
(Note – LTE is not for public services just for the ASEAN’s meetings)

MPT would like to invite interested bidders to submit an Expression of Interest ( EOI ) in person by February 11th , 2014, 4:30 Pm @ the following address.
