YANGON – Bates CHI & Partners has announced the appointment of Milla Chaplin as Strategic Account Director in Myanmar, focusing on the Ooredoo business. Chaplin is based in Yangon.
Chaplin, a former WPP fellow, will be responsible for strategic planning and senior account management, with a focus on research and insights. She will also drive innovation and collaboration across the network.

Chaplin has several years of experience in the communications industry working within client services across advertising, branding and media disciplines in London, New York and Beijing – most recently at Mindshare, London where she held the position of Client Leadership Manager for clients including HSBC and BP. Before joining WPP through the Fellowship Programme, Milla was a a Fixer/ Interpreter for the BBC at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and has lived M in Shanghai, Taipei, New York, Beijing, Germany and Brazil.
