Labour Dept Creates 28,000 Jobs in January

​​ Department of Labour said it had created more than 28,000 domestic and overseas jobs during January. According to the list, there were more than 11,000 overseas and 17,000 domestic jobs created, in both the public and private sectors. Yangon Region topped the domestic list with 11,522 jobs, followed by Bago with 1,874 and Mandalay with 1,151. The department sent 11,241 workers to Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, the UAE and Qatar and 10,611 to Thailand. Labour offices have offered online employment services for employers and employees.
